Nigel Farage visits Bournemouth

Prior to the big Grassroots Out (GO) conference at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) yesterday afternoon, Nigel Farage put aside time to meet some of the party’s local supporters and members as well as support my campaign to become the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dorset at the elections on the 5th May. This is Nigel’s first visit to an area to support a UKIP PCC candidate in this round of elections.

We started with a chat in one of the local coffee bars before making our way to the Police Station on the Gloucester Road in Boscombe, one of the many police stations in Dorset that are now closed to the public.

There we met up with party and Brexit supporters, many of whom then made their way to the BIC to hear Nigel speak alongside a cross party group including Kate Hoey, Conor Burns, Christopher Chope, Peter Bone, Tom Pursglove and Helen Harrison (GO campaign director).
