Beds saved at the Westminster Memorial Hospital in Shaftesbury!

Some brilliant news for Shaftesbury has been announced!

The beds, which had been under threat since the Dorset CCG started looking at service delivery, have been saved.

The Dorset CCG had planned on shutting the beds down in our local hospital but, with a concerted effort from everyone in the Town, they have been save from closure!

The Town Councils of both Shaftesbury and Gillingham, together with the Save our Beds! team and the Task Force have worked tirelessly on this and it’s great to see all the hard work go well rewarded!

More on this can be found in the Gillingham News.
